Controlled Corporation

A corporation in which an individual or entity is treated as having control over the requisite interest in the stock after applying one or another form of the attribution rules. § 318. For purposes of § 2036(b) a corporation is controlled if the decedent had the right to vote 20 percent or more of it stock while §2701(b)(2)(A) defines control as 50 percent or more.
