John A. Clees

Estate Planning Made Easy

Estate planning is a complex legal matter that hinges on a lawyer’s ability to understand and care for the needs of a family’s personal affairs. This is Olympia native John Clees’s mantra. With more than 30 years of experience in estate planning and tax law, John’s devotion to work is comparable to the virtues of a loving parent—candid, trustworthy and always keeps your best interest in mind. Whether you’re struggling with an estate dispute or you’re just overwhelmed by the complexities of tax law, John communicates at your level and acts as your personal legal coach, a role he’s comfortable with after two decades of managing fast-pitch softball at Capital High School. John, a CPA and former business owner, has also served as an expert witness for litigation’s involving accounting malpractice and illegal business transactions.

When John isn’t offering long-term estate planning solutions, he can be found jet skiing in the Puget Sound with his wife or trail hiking in Palm Desert, California.
